Recently, I met a svelte lady, a young lady about twenty three, attractive, charming, hardworking and robust in both body and mind. Writing about this lady seemed to be a hard nut to crack, she is too good that finding the right adjectives to define her is hard.
Though, nothing can be a harder nut to crack for one named HILDA KANYI alias EMMIE.
One Sunday morning, the morning sun had already shone past the clouds and tree branches cast shadows towards the west. An old friend and I bumped into each other by the sidewalks. We exchanged pleasantries and did some catching up, when she introduced me to this amazing and well cultivated lady- Kanyi, there was an innocence in her eyes that seemed white as snow, pure!
I wanted to know her better, but something held me back. Truly judging people from their social interactions and behaviour can be misleading, very misleading. At first, I thought Kanyi (an amazing name for sure) was unsocial until I met her the second time.
The whole notion I had about her changed, there and then. Each time I looked at Kanyi; I saw something different and it amazed me, her eyes sparked like a meteor tearing through the sky on a cloudless night. Every moment I managed to steal a glance, I saw a creation so meek and humbled with so much warmth that I felt I needed to know her better. Since then, I never stopped visiting her.
As time went by, Kanyi and I swooned to best friends From strangers who just met while her friend and she were headed to church. How amazing.
Kanyi's interests fascinates me the most. She has a big heart, big enough like Mother Theresa's; so kind and willing to love- selflessly. Come to think of how many smiles she's managed to put on people's faces under a charity course dubbed Operation Hope Kenya? Isn't she just an angel.
Truth be told, the last time I saw my Emmie. I saw truth and intellect in her eyes, something quite different. Each time she glanced my way. I couldn't help but smile. In fact Kanyi is my source of inspiration.
I know I could use many words to define Kanyi something that can take several hours, but one thing is clear though; Kanyi, I mean my Kanyi is such an amazing soul with a big heart. She has no replica. One who is going to make a wise Financier.
I love you, very much. Hilda Kanyi alias Emmie. Thanks for the poker lessons.
