In your arms I found delight.
Quiet as the streets at night fall
And thoughts of you, fresh in my mind.
You took away the sad moments.
On a moonless night with dark clouds,
Love in you shone with delight.
In heaven I saw your face.
In your laughter I found,
The sweet melody to a sweet song
In your beauty I found
The muse to a paiting, a masterpiece.
All about you was the light,
Shinning so bright,
On such a moonless dark clouded night,
With you my friend,
Everything is a haven without a hush.
Peaceful without a tide or a wave.
The Wordy space.
Arts gets appreciated.

MATTERS TALENT | SanaSana Band.
I have a dream, more of a vision.
One day, I will be part of Lovers of Music, thronging the Famous event. Blankets and Wine, with my own blanket and a bottle of costly wine (name your Favourite brand) with a beautiful companion holding my left hand, wearing a kitenge dress and the prettiest sunglasses.
That day- SANASANA BAND will be curtain raising for several performances sampled from across Africa; Muthoni Drummer Queen - KENYA , Anto Neosoul - KENYA - Mi Casa- South AFRICA, Mafikizolo - SOUTH AFRICA, Cece Sagini- KENYA, Ice Prince - NIGERIA, Elani - KENYA, Yamoto Band - TANZANIA... Just but a few. I will hold my companion's hand and whisper 'I know those guys on stage, we went to the same university.'
Imagine all these acts on stage. Breathtaking.
Undeterred by the weather, I will join other lovers of music in applauding SANASANA BAND, a group of young talented men and women. The echoes of my applause will be heard all over the country and the Lovers of music will have a new band to jam to their music.
And I will boast that I have before interacted with them.
I am certain that that day will come and my vision will come to pass. SANASANA BAND will pick up speed when they burst into the Kenyan Limelight with the intensity of a dazzling meteor. They will woo and wow.
That I'm certain!

MUSINGS OF A LONER | Hilda Kanyi alias Emmie
Recently, I met a svelte lady, a young lady about twenty three, attractive, charming, hardworking and robust in both body and mind. Writing about this lady seemed to be a hard nut to crack, she is too good that finding the right adjectives to define her is hard.
Though, nothing can be a harder nut to crack for one named HILDA KANYI alias EMMIE.
One Sunday morning, the morning sun had already shone past the clouds and tree branches cast shadows towards the west. An old friend and I bumped into each other by the sidewalks. We exchanged pleasantries and did some catching up, when she introduced me to this amazing and well cultivated lady- Kanyi, there was an innocence in her eyes that seemed white as snow, pure!
I wanted to know her better, but something held me back. Truly judging people from their social interactions and behaviour can be misleading, very misleading. At first, I thought Kanyi (an amazing name for sure) was unsocial until I met her the second time.
The whole notion I had about her changed, there and then. Each time I looked at Kanyi; I saw something different and it amazed me, her eyes sparked like a meteor tearing through the sky on a cloudless night. Every moment I managed to steal a glance, I saw a creation so meek and humbled with so much warmth that I felt I needed to know her better. Since then, I never stopped visiting her.
As time went by, Kanyi and I swooned to best friends From strangers who just met while her friend and she were headed to church. How amazing.
Kanyi's interests fascinates me the most. She has a big heart, big enough like Mother Theresa's; so kind and willing to love- selflessly. Come to think of how many smiles she's managed to put on people's faces under a charity course dubbed Operation Hope Kenya? Isn't she just an angel.
Truth be told, the last time I saw my Emmie. I saw truth and intellect in her eyes, something quite different. Each time she glanced my way. I couldn't help but smile. In fact Kanyi is my source of inspiration.
I know I could use many words to define Kanyi something that can take several hours, but one thing is clear though; Kanyi, I mean my Kanyi is such an amazing soul with a big heart. She has no replica. One who is going to make a wise Financier.
I love you, very much. Hilda Kanyi alias Emmie. Thanks for the poker lessons.

147 NOT JUST A NUMBER
147 NOT JUST A NUMBER.
All the stars shine so bright in the sky,
All like little diamonds so bright,
And on a dark night like this,
When none can be seen,
We remember our own fallen HEROES and HEROINES.
Whose lives they lived halfway
Whose stories were written halfway.
We hear claps of thunder,
Dripping rain.
We remember gunshots and bombs,
Terror and Panic,
And we are left hoping that our stories will reach the end,
Respectfully.
#147NotJustANumber.....
It's a Nation lost,
Rest their souls in eternal peace Oh God Almighty,
And give us strength to overcome this tempest.
AMEN

FINAL NOTE
FINAL NOTE By Oliver Mutai
Take a seat Oliver and let me pour forth the pain seething in me. My Love for you was worth it! Remember? The good times we had together, When I was the diamond you most sought for under caves and caverns? When the grains in your field wouldn't ripen, I shone upon then vehemently, wasn't I your sunshine?
'I love you to the heavens and back,' you repeatedly whispered. My dear Oliver, a day brings me closer to my tomb! My soul's beckoned to the heavens, will you still Love me? Knowing that I won't be back?
Don't, don't cry yet my dear Oliver, let me pour forth mine first. This condition I cannot a bear. Oh! How spontaneous; touching, whispering, kissing and now I'm pregnant for thee. Inside of me lies and unborn, whom to my parents a disgrace to the family. A tarnish to the long built reputation. My own family, Oliver. I'm shuttered.
Goodbye my dear. My world is so dark I cannot a bear, my life so miserable I can't live to see the next day. Goodbye

Sian Albright
My heart is in silent panic,
My spirit wanders overseas,
I'm afraid because I know,
The sorry season we live in,
When time will come
To give my account,
LORD
I know you will find me guilty,
In a deep deep sleep
I hear a still voice calling unto me but,
I keep closing my eyes,
And running away so far,
I see my friends going the wrong direction,
Innocently
But I burry my head in my hands,
Pretending not to see,
I don't know why I can't talk,
I don't know why I can't lead,
And say!,
Stop walking towards DEATH,
heaven is the other way,
I feel that time is over,
I know that He is coming soon,
I maybe a psycho,
I may loose all my friends,
The voice still whispers,
Whenever I run,
He follows rebuking,
Don't betray me child,
Don't be ashamed of me.
