NAI LOVES YOU

NAI LOVES YOU. BY Oliver Mutai (A Limerick)

A city rare like wine.
Flatters all over the world; a proud great city,
This city will capture your soul,
Oblivious of you skin's complexion,
A sight and sound so majestic; Nai boasts about.

The old but familiar faces,
Of our fighters sculptures around C.B.D
Fifty years later,
Descendants of theirs already born and grown,
Gracefully dancing their Dances.
Freedom earned the hard way; Nai boasts about.

The Beautiful mornings in Nai,
Women married to their mirrors; beauty Nai boasts about.
The foundation, the lipsticks, the earrings,
Not to forget,
The eyelashes mascara, the alabaster,
Of Elegance and unhurried steps,
Wait till it starts to Rain!

Capturing theatres and temples,
Of design and great architecture,
Splash all over Nai,
Ode to the energetic and well feed fellows.
The river of life windeth down Nai,
At her own sweet and curvaceous form,
Oh such endowed scape Nai boasts about.

Nai stands on its own brightness,
Like the earth on its own axis,
Brightness of breathtaking spectacular sky-scrappers,
Running towards the sky stone by stone (Sky's the limit)
poetry high up the building; Pawa 254
Profusion! A diverse art Nai boasts about.

The midnights in Nai,
When windows closed and radios blaring,
Right from the city centre; The Nation House,
Amazing sounds of Ciru and Anto Neosoul, far and wide.
Nation Late night blazing!
Dear God, what an amazing perfect duet.

Nay say Nai hates you,
Nai loves you with passion,
Nay say Nai is ugly
Say 'Sura yako mzuri' Nai,
For her beauty splashes all over,
To the streets suburbs and its veins
The splendour of Nai.
Heard MDQ sing 'Nai ni ya who?'
Nai Belongs to me and you,
NAI LOVES YOU!

The Wordy space.: Who Am I?

Who Am I?

(A Moment in SOLITUDE)

Who Am I?

Who am I?
I am an African,
An African of good taste and command,
I don't speak like an Haggard,
I am passionate; speak with passion and desire!
Desire to drive and devour.
What I speak will touch a heart; I BELIEVE.

WHO am I?
I am creative in my world; a world defined by spontainety.
I shade timeless colours of hope, love and tranquility not Grey.
I am in charge; charge over my actions.
Action sure will stir GAME CHANGE.
For my mind I loudly speak.

Who am I?
I am God's mortal being!
Fearfully and wonderfully moulded; in his image.
I am a risk taker, living today to the brim
Tomorrow the breathe of life could run short!
I am David, strong in my own package,
Blind to big Goliath's intimidation; for power I have.
In God's Glory my Soul rests.

Who am I?
I am for that one, ONE strong enigmatic FEMININE,
allows me to be, Who I am,
I am triumphant; for she dares me to try.
I am a lover of life; happy, graceful and funny.
But a RED rose quickly withering.
Here Today, tomorrow MAYBE NOT.

FRIENDS FOREVER

FRIENDS FOREVER.

Its hard to find true and comforting friends, one that have your back and support you. But into my life you came at the perfect time! At a time when I needed support, at a time when I needed one to encourage, 'Keep on going you are doing great,' I'M GRATEFUL YOU ARE MY FRIENDS.

We shared together in times of happiness and laughter, in times of grief and mystery when the waves of life hit so hard. When everything crumbled right before my eyes, when tears of sadness and fears clouded my eyes. You helped dry them. I’M GRATEFUL YOU ARE MY FRIENDS.

Saying goodbye isn't the easiest thing, after months of support and encouragement. One thing is for sure, I wouldn't have made it this far without you. We have been apart for a while but we'll be together again soon. I'm thankful for the support. I'M GRATEFUL YOU ARE MY FRIENDS.

P.S
A THANK YOU NOTE.
You should know how thankful I am for always being their for me. You always helped me get better show after show, getting over the hard times with ease. That I can't forget. THANK YOU.
You listened to my problems whole- heartedly, you mused me to be a better performer. I couldn't be smiling together. That I can't forget. THANK YOU.
You trusted me with my problem, always confiding in you. In my heart I shall keep your words. I can't forget. THANK YOU.
